Absentee Voting

The special Election Day is fast approaching, and so is the Christmas season.  As you prepare for your Christmas vacations and travel, we ask you to also prepare your absentee ballot, and a vote for Bill Stanley.  As your State Senator, Bill Stanley will cut taxes, reduce the size of government, support the Repeal Amendment, enforce immigration laws, cut job-killing regulations, and defend the United States and Virginia Constitutions.
Below you will see where and how you can cast your absentee ballot, if you will be unable to attend the polls on Tuesday, January 11, 2011.

  • If you live in Franklin County, you will cast your absentee ballot at: Franklin County Registrar’s Office (540) 483-3025, 1255 Franklin Street, Suite 106, Rocky Mount, VA 24151. Monday through Friday 8:30am-5:00pm. Also Saturday, January 8, 2011 from 8:30am-5:00pm.
  • If you live in Pittsylvania County, you will cast your absentee ballot at: Pittsylvania County Registrar’s Office (434) 432-7700, ext. 7971, 21 North Main Street, Chatham, VA 24531. Monday through Friday 8:30am-4:30pm. Also Saturday, January 8, 2011 from 8:30am-4:30pm.
  • If you live in the City of Danville, you will cast your ballot at: Danville Registrar’s Office (434) 799-6560, 515 Main Street, Danville, VA 24541. Monday through Friday 9:00am-5:00pm. Also Saturday, January 8, 2011 from 9:00am-5:00pm.
  • If you live in Campbell County, you will cast your ballot at: Campbell County Registrar’s Office (434) 332-9579, 774 Village Highway, Rustburg, VA 24588. Monday through Friday 8:30am-5:00pm. Also Saturday, January 8, 2011, from 9:00am-5:00pm.

If you know you will be out of town on January 11, 2011, please do not delay and case your absentee ballot for Bill Stanley.  If you would like to download the absentee ballot to mail in to your local registrar, you may do so here:

The last day to mail in an absentee ballot is Tuesday, January 4, 2011, and the last day to cast an absentee ballot at a polling place is Saturday, January 8, 2011.
