Stanley: First priority is jobs
Senate candidate Bill Stanley’s top priority is bringing jobs to the area, the Republican told supporters at his Danville office opening Monday afternoon.
About two dozen supporters greeted Stanley at his office on Piney Forest Road–the space previously occupied by former state Sen. and U.S. Rep.-elect Robert Hurt’s campaign office–where Stanley spoke about his legislative goals and need for voter participation in the Jan. 11 special election.
Stanley, a Franklin County lawyer, faces Democrat Hank Davis, chairman of the Pittsylvania County Board of Supervisors. Davis plans to open a Danville campaign office Wednesday.

Very happy to see someone who appears to get it. Coming out and saying that he, or any other politician for that matter, can NOT creat jobs only present a good environment is a breath of fresh air compared to all the campain rhetoric crap that so many politcians say. I hope you do a great job in the senate and I wish you all the best of luck, I fear you will need it. Now if we can just get an audit on the Federal Reserve, we may have a chance at getting are country back.
